The Fortress Retracting Conveyor Metal Detector has been designed with the customer in mind by delivering low cost of ownership, simple set-up and maintenance. The system is supplied in retail compliance configuration and features the retracting belt reject design, upon detection of a defective product, the exit roller will retract, exposing a void where the product will fall into a reject lockable bin. This reject type is relatively gentle and limits potential product trapping when correctly set up.

This type of Ferrous-In-Foil Metal Detector overlooks the presence of aluminum foil and other non-ferrous metals in fresh or frozen packaged products, successfully detecting ferrous metals such as iron and steel. Digital Signal Processing technology is utilised with high sensitivity levels to detect the smallest ferrous contaminants.
