This Fortress Phantom Ferrosearch metal detection head, often referred to a Ferrous In-Foil (FIF) metal detector, is specifically designed to detect ferrous (iron-containing) metal contaminants within foil packaged products. Designed for ferrous metals detection such as iron and steel and overlooks aluminum foil and other non-ferrous metals in fresh or frozen packaged products. Its Digital Signal Processing technology possesses high sensitivity levels and is used to detect the smallest ferrous contaminants.

This specific Fortress Phantom Ferrosearch (FIF) Head has a 365mm x 185mm aperture ideally suited for conveyor based mounting, existing replacement or repairs.
